SOURCE: Dishwasher Reset / Diagnostics

Unscrew and remove the kickplate at the very bottom of the dishwasher. The tech sheet with the diagnostic code should be attached to the back of it.  If not, due a websearch and you should be able to find the info on yahoo or google.

SOURCE: Kenmore dishwasher, model 665.170 344 01. "Clean" light keeps flashing and will not stop. Have tried everything in the manual and the light still will not stop flashing.

If the clean light flashes 7 times, pauses then repeats...

If the dishwasher doesn't sense a water temperature increase, it will stop working and lock the functions (clean light flashes 7 times, all buttons are non responsive).

To resolve this you will have to reset the console. Do this by closing the door and press these buttons in sequence...

-high temp wash
-heated dry
-high temp wash
-heated dry

...all the lights will turn on briefly and the machine will start a diagnostic cycle. You can press cancel or let the diagnostic cyle finish (1-2 minutes).
You should now be able to run the dishwasher as normal.

If the issue returns, you could have a problem with the heating circuit (ie. element, thermostat or wiring). It rarely happens but it could also be the door switch not engaging properly when the door is closed (slightly bend the door latch down making sure it doesn't hit the door when you close it).

SOURCE: Asko 1876 dishwasher soap flap opens as soon as power on.

I don't know about the control panel - I am having trouble with mine too, but in regard to the soap dispenser -- don't use it anymore. Just buy those little tablets. That is what the secretary at the repair shop told me when I had a problem and that's been fine.

Testimonial: "THE SOAP TABLETS ARE A GOOD IDEA , BUT IT DOESN'T STOP THE DISPENSER BEING POWERED ON ALL THE TIME AND POSSIBILY OVERHEATING. SO STILL NEED A SOLUTION"

GE dishwasher clean light blinks continuously and does nothing else. This is with a new circuit board.

This is an old thread but here is the REAL answer to nonstop flashing 'clean' light after swapping out main board.

Hopefully will help someone else.

When you replace the mainboard YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE MODEL SELECTOR PLUG FROM OLD BOARD AND TRANSFER TO NEW BOARD.

If you do not do so, the 'clean' light will flash continuously.

It is easy to accidentally throw out the old board without removing the resistor plug from the bad board as it looks like it's part of the board. Look for a 3 pronged plug top middle of the old board. You can see the resistor wires.

You could probably rig something up if you have some inline resistors and threw out the old plug. I suspect you could google what the resistance is supposed to be and cross wire pins in a pinch.

Anytime the lights blink simultaneously on this model, it is because of a major control fault that has occurred.

unplug the unit or shut the breaker off for 3 minutes. if the lights continue to blink after the 3 minute reset, replace the control/timer module asap.

GE Profile PDW7880G00SS Dishwasher will not Start

Re: My dishwasher start light flashes and the timer display is blank.

That is a fault condition, if the display is blank it is probably a faulty control board.

Unplug the appliace from main, or trip circuit braker to cut power for ten minutes.

If display is still blank on startup, then replace the timer control assembly.

Need side mount brackets gpf65 because of granite counter top, model #ghda485n10cs ser# rm763786b, quietpower3 dishwasher

I don’t know your counter situation, usually you have to put dishwasher in a bottom cabinet and mount both side. Suppose you only have one side to mount, you have to go to home depot to buy a 90 degree metal mounting bar, mount the top part to your top granite support board, the bottom side mount to the dishwasher, it should be a ¾” plywood board underneath the granite, you can use ½” screw to mount it.

Hope this can help you,

Blinking Green Light

Here's what I could find on the your error code:

A blinking clean light that flashes 7 times and cannot be reset, occurs when the electronic control does not detect a water temperature increase during the main wash. This could be an indication of a failed heating element, in line thermostat, electronic control board and/or wiring. This problem can also occur if the main wash pump becomes clogged and it not spraying sufficiently. I hope this helps you.

PS A faulty door latch can also cause this error code.

Kenmore 30" stainless steel tub Model#665-110729120 Serial#FM2101476

Push the NORMAL WASH then HEATED DRY buttons in that sequence two to three times. The unit will enter diagnostics mode, but can be stopped by pressing the CANCEL button. This will clear any existing faults and should return the dishwasher to normal operation.
