Model: Casio TE-2240 Problem: We have 2 cash drawers (tills) for this machine. The upper drawer works fine. The lower drawer is plugged in and opens only when we have the red key in and Z2 is hit (so we know it works). Yet when the green key is set to Reg2 only the top one operates. How to get ONLY the lower till to operate (open, take cash, etc.) ?

I lied, its the TE-2400 rigged up with 2 drawers. You can get at the wires for the 2nd drawer by removing the bottom faceplate. Beneath that, there is a red/black/brown alligator wire clip to hook up to a second drawer (perhaps a relic of an older model.

At any rate I was unable to find the users manual online for free (We have the paper copy, it doesn't cover it). BUT I was able to find the dealer's manual online (about 240 pg) .pdf.

    Check it out here:http://www.merlinofficeequipment.co.uk/a...

Thanks for your help so far.

It sounds like you have a special drawer setup (and a rare model - are you sure it is a TE-2240?). I can't see any settings in my notes for multiple drawers. Do you happen to have a copy of the programming manual in pdf (electronic) form? I can probably solve it for you if I can check the settings.

If this machine has been working in the past for you, then someone may have changed a setting. Can you tell me if anyone has done any programming on it before it stopped working. I need to know if any machine features settings were altered.

For cash register casio TE-100 can't open

As long as you are able to complete the sale normally (or use the no sale function), the problem is usually due to a locked cash drawer or something jamming the plastic insert inside the drawer.

We are looking for a drawer (till) for a casio ce 4000. The one we have now is14 inches wide and 11 3/8inches deep with 4 compartement for bills and compartements for coins. Don't know te age of...

You can use any of the Casio drawers that have the same connection as the standard drawer. Alternatively, you can use any 24volt drawer in other brands if you change the drawer connector. You may have to make a new base for the register but that is not a big issue. good luck ------------------------------------------------------------------

Searching for a cash drawer compatible with a Casio TE-4500F it currently has a DL-3616

Basically any DL drawer with the same connection on it as the one you have. Sometimes the register may not sit perfectly on top - some drawers have holes to secure the feet of the register, but it should be able to open the drawer. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Casio te-2400 cash register- making transactions

Try this: Turn key to program mode 0 CASH SUBTOTAL 3 SUBTOTAL 0 CASH SUBTOTAL
This should remove the preset amount from the CASH button. Now it should work normally when finishing the sale.
Now turn back to REG mode when entering the price, DO NOT use a decimal, so type 2000 for 20 dollars. Now press a PLU (item) button. SUBTOTAL Type the amount received (NO DECIMAL, so 5000 for 50 dollars) Press CASH Change should be displayed, and drawer open

A till won't open the cash draw tried different

It usually means the drawer wiring has been shorted out at some stage and the internal fuse (most models have a drawer fuse on the main board) has blown. Occasionally the drive transistor may have blown open also. If you want to have a go at it yourself and save some money, C-tech has a service manual here:
http://the-checkout-tech.com/estore/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=334
Once you have it, I can direct you to the relevant parts/ diagrams etc for drawer drive.

Casio Cah Register PCR-T275 Replacement Drawer

Hi.
All Casio drawers have the designation DL, so you are probably correct. You will need to obtain them from a Casio dealer. Best idea is to look up cash register dealers in your area in the phone book, then find a Casio one in the listings. If none of them list their associated brands, just ring a few and ask. It's a tight knit community, so they will usually know who supports Casio. I should warn you that they will probably cost a lot of money. The drawer is expected to last for the whole life of the machine.

Casio cash register te-4500f

Hi.
E10 means drawer not closed within the given time (in programming). if you have the drawer closed already, make sure all three wires are connected between the drawer and the register (one of them senses the drawer state). Apart from that, you might have a programming, or memory issue. Has anyone played with the programming?
If you are still stuck, let me know.
