I have a light on my dash with an exclamation point enclosed in what looks like parenthesis with verticle lines underneath. It's yellow. Do you know what it is?

If it looks like a deflating tire with an exclamation mark inside, its the check your tire pressure light.

If its a triangle with exclamation mark inside its the check engine light.

Yellow exclamation point with parenthesis on dash

Low tire pressure....very common to see when the weather gets colder. Other than that, you might be getting a flat tire or you tire sensor is on the fritz. Hope that helps! I've seen that on my dash more times than I'd like to admit. :-)

What is the light that looks like an exclamation point in parenthesis on the dash?

Some vehicles use That as a warning light, check to see if a different light cones on for park brake, if so then check levels ie brake fluid or tire pressures and possibly air filter or cabin filter can light that up. Or check your manual

What does the exclamation point with parenthesis with a squiggle line underneath light mean on the dash board

That is the tire pressure sensor. It means that one or more of your tires is low on pressure. Check/inflate them to the proper psi and it should go away. The parans & squiggle are supposed to look like the cross section of a tire .

Yellow light with exclamation on parenthesis stays

It means you have a tire that has low air pressure air up the tires and it will turn off automatically. Assuming you have radials stop at any gas station and air them up to 32 PSi for firmness and better fuel mileage or 28 PSI if you like going around corners a little faster cause the tire to grab the road better. Also any tire shop will air them up for you if they are not busy.

I purhcased an 05 4runner with a service light on.

Easy. Let some expert check your brake system and brake pad, master brake. The fault is from there.

2007 Ford Ranger

Hi, I also own a 2007 Ford Ranger. That's the TPMS light. It's telling you the tire pressure is low. Check the tire pressure and if make sure it's where it needs to be (there's a sticker in the door jamb that tells you what the tire pressure should be set to.

Oh, and I found a PDF copy of the 2007 Ranger owners manual here - http://www.fordf150.net/2007/
