How do I remove google chrome app launcher?

its a glitch in Google Chromes latest update. just uninstall Chrome remove all its registry keys and left over folders. restart your computer.
then use Internet Explorer only then go to https://chrome.google.com click the download and follow the instructions. The app launcher will not install onto your desktop, but will open to the app launcher page when you open Chrome.
that too can be removed also bu going into settings "Open a specific page or set of pages. Set Pages" click on set pages and add new page to about:blank or to whatever page you want Chrome to open to. then click save. and that is it no more app page.
once i did this Chrome opens a lot faster.

  • You might try disabling java scripts in chrome under "Options > Under The Bonnet > Privacy Content Settings > JavaScript". That might fix the hanging up part, but you will be left with no java.

With google chrome i cannot connect to the internet

If the problem isnt with your fire wall try this. After a little poking around I found that IE and Chrome both use the same type of means to access the internet so, this is what worked for me.

Open IE and on the menu: Tools -> Internet Options
Hit the Connections tab, then hit the LAN Settings button and UNCHECK
"Use a proxy server for your LAN", then OK both windows.
refresh the browser and both Chrome & IE should work.

Will not go to any web pages. it says error

Hi, check how is the Internet Explorer working. If Internet Explorer is working fine, then the best and quickest resolution would be to simply uninstall and reinstall Google Chrome on your computer. Before that, make sure you have backed up your favourites.
I hope this helps.

Hello For the last 5 or 6 days, I've been getting this error msg whenever I try to open this page: ERROR: Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): Unknown Error WebPage:...

Orkut is one of the product of Google. It is better in Chrome. the "err_connection_reset" comes under delay of page accessing so check it out your browsing speed. and check any "spy look" on your system while accessing the orkut [social web]. Make sure of fine availability of processor time, browsing speed along with chrome settings.. if you got the same, then notify the error message with out error.have fine
