unfortunately, the manual for your Kenwood food processor FP470 is not available anywhere online. The manufacturers of this Unit did not make it available. I went further searching and couldn't find any.

I would suggest you contact the manufacturer of your Kenwood food processor FP470 via phone or e-mail and request for the manual from them. They might give it to you or direct you to a dealer where you can get the manual.

Are you sure you have the Model Number correct. I believe the Bush appliances are also marketed under the Kewwood brand name. Was able to find information for the Kenwood FP260. When you see the picture on the front you should know if it is applicable to your product,

The machine will not work if not assembled correctly. Check the schematic provide for assembly and make sure you are putting the processor together correctly. The fact the blender works fine suggests that when you assemble the processor it is not engaging with the safety switch which would allow power to engage.

Once you are in the manual you will see the section on the food processor. Make sure you put it together exactly as shown and then have the lid secured. These are safety issues and the reason why it will not go if it it not exactly as shown. Joe

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, list of Dealers, Driver downloads and Installation Instructions as required.

Just Google the manufacturer's name and follow the links. Make certain you are directed to the manufacturer's web site as some search engines direct you to other sites and they charge for the information that is normally free of charge.
