My compaq armada m700 is having problem

yes, aslong you have USB port or PCMCIA card slot
if your compaq armada m700 is the p III series it's alot better

Try to find a boot CD .Put that CD and try to start you computer and see it work or not.Incase it doesn't ,that mean you have a bad CDROM,you've to replace with the new one then.

CHECK TO SEE IF THE DISPLAY WORKS BY PLUGGING A VGA CORD FROM YOUR NOTEBOOK TO YOUR MONITOR IF YOUR MONITOR SHOWS WHAT YOUR NOTEBOOK IS DISPLAYING, THEN IT'S YOUR INVERTER.

remove the battery and directly connect to power and see.

try removing the large battery and powering off wall supply only...if ok, then replace battery
