Wireless mobile service connect to eee pc 8 GB?

The ATT people were not able to get their USBConnect 881 device to work so i can use their mobile wireless service on my eee pc, 8 GB.

please help, thanks
please, help me! I am from Brazil and unhappy I can´t use my new mini modem ts-9998 because i don´t no use linux.

    Do you know what they tried to do.

    If you plug it in then wait a bit, go into the network settings and click on new. Then click on the type and your device should come up. If not then it is probably not linux compatible. Try posting this problem on eeeuser.com and they may be able to help you.

Have a sierra wireless 881 and keeps coming up error 668 tried with my cell sim and got same code whats wrong and how do i fix it with out att or spending more money
First of all you might want to check the firmware on the card to make sure it is up to date. There are two different versions of the 881, a usb model and a PCMI card. To get your firmware version by using your communication manager, go to tools>diagnositics>gsm info. Look on the device tab. The firmware version is near the bottom. Then go to www.sierrawireless.com/support and check that version against what they have there. If that does not work, set up a new connection profile. What type of o/s [operating system]? I did quick research and I saw Linux ? I think that they don't have SOFTWARE DRIVERS for your o/s. Not in USB,connect 881 and not to loose you u, they did not tell you.

you already have a wireless receiver in your laptop, u just have to configure it [Tell it what to do!]
Then u goto the internet explorer or some other BROWSER and get on WIFI if you can receive a signal from the air

Cannot install USBConnect 881
you're having problem with the driver ... delete the old driver of usbconnect 881 from your pc then install it again .. try to have the newest driver available on internet and your problem will be solved
