Wireless mobile service connect to eee pc 8 GB?

At least three--that's what I do. I have the 881 docked in a Cradlepoint router with a wireless access point. The 881 provides internet access to all. Been doing it for almost 3 years--no complaints.

First of all you might want to check the firmware on the card to make sure it is up to date. There are two different versions of the 881, a usb model and a PCMI card. To get your firmware version by using your communication manager, go to tools>diagnositics>gsm info. Look on the device tab. The firmware version is near the bottom. Then go to www.sierrawireless.com/support and check that version against what they have there. If that does not work, set up a new connection profile. You don't--draws power from the PC to keep the battery going.

try to restore the pc back to when it was working ok.

you're having problem with the driver ... delete the old driver of usbconnect 881 from your pc then install it again .. try to have the newest driver available on internet and your problem will be solved

load usb into computer.. go to my computer.. right click device and AUTORUN.. software should start to install.
