Aiptek issue how do i get the driver back if i no longer have the disk??

There are no drivers available for such an out-dated piece of equipment.

keep in mind that this here might be just the driver for to make the communication between devices..for to import and manage you may still need a manager or a program ...Im not sure what this model uses..
anyway if you have the driver ..almost all photo and video managers will import from device ...

1. aiptek web site has a driver solution for vista users I had same problem but with Win XP it keep seeing it as a flash drive .... I uninstalled drivers and re-installed them,- same error, then uninstalled again and removed the USB from device manager uninstalled direct X cause it was the newest version, then install everything from scratch without turning the camera on then try again and nothing, finally I turn to the manual and somewhere says "if you need to use it as web cam then press the menu button on the camera and select camara!!! as soon as I did that and additional port found in windows was detected and installed automatically then I got my video and microfono up and running. So easy right, but like always the software CD is missing the manuals too and people do not read. LOL .....

i want instll driver

i had huge problems with this software and after installing it i am no longer able to power my camera on while its connected to the usb on my pc. id say go to aiptek.com and see if there may be a driver conflict or some sort of compatability issue. what os are you running that may be an issue too.

The top item in the list of software on that disk should be the codec needed to play the videos on your PC (it only works on Windows, not Mac--you can transfer the files on a Mac, but you'll need to track down a codec for the videos).

The other software is extra applications for viewing and editing the pictures and videos. You can install some, all or none of it. If you're on a Windows machine you can edit the videos using Windows Movie Maker. Any photo viewer should be able to display the pictures.

Re: hellokitty08-- you can download the drivers (the codec) from the Aiptek website. Or you can order a replacement CD from them. If you're in the U.S. go to aiptek.com . If you're in Europe go to aiptek.de . They also have a website at aiptek.tw .
