My Fisher Paykel gw612 leaking water from underneath during the spin cycle. I can't see any leaks underneath and the hoses and side of the machine stay dry. Also when it is filling it makes a slight tapping noise like the bowl is knocking something, but the machine is level????

My quess its a big job, check to see if there are any leaks from the motor, you may have faulty seals, also check the water seals around the electroncis board, once water gets into the motor it becomes a big job. i need more info.

Fisher & Paykel GW712 Leaking large amounts of water during rinse and spin cycles. Have looked underneath and noticed the pump is slightly corroded, outlet hose is OK with no cracks, hose clamp OK, but...

hi - I have often come across defective hoses further up along the sides of the machines - a result usually from constant rubbing onto the frame work amongst others.

The design would indicate other defects if present - if the air vaccum breather for level control or the hose defective it will have overfill amongst others - constant leak on to the floor through out the cycle - same would apply to a crack in the outer bowl - pump errors would show up if that's faulty.

Have found duct tape effective for these minor issues - the cost of replacements could be horrendous if a serviceman was to replace the harness..

Cheers

Washer leaking water while spinning

Check the drain hose where it leaves the machine, if the square section of it is not in the plastic housing it will cut on the cabinet, if this has happened replace the hose they are difficult to repair, Other possibilities, pump is leaking, and check that the inlet hoses are not leaking and have washers in every connection.

Fisher Paykel Ecosmart washing machine spills water.

sometimes too much detergent, or extra cleaners like oxy clean) will cause lots of foam which will cause the water level sensor to misread, or foam over the top of the drum. if this is not the problem, you will have to tilt the machine on its side and look for loose or damaged hoses. the play in the tub will not cause leaking

Fisher and Paykel Washer leaking water

hi there,

the leak underneath could be from the pump or the drain hose. some washers have a tub to pump boot that sometimes springs a leak.

for a 4-month-old washer, i would certainly hope you pay nothing. F&P appliances come with at least a 2 year warranty. check your user & care guide for warranty information.
