While connecting my nokia 3110c via usb my system shows that hardware connected but could not be installed

You did not mention the error message but it seems that it was "no music files found".Here let give you the solution,first download and install Oxycube to your pc.Open the Oxycube interface and at the same time connect your phone via USB by selecting PC suite.After your phone is connected properly selec the C Drive of your phone which will be shown at the bottom of the Oxycube interface.Select the folder name "Hidden folder" and again there you'll see db music .....delete all the files with the pre-fix of db .Remove USB Restart or Restore your phone and open the music.If there is no other software problem this trick will perfectly work.But if possible before you Restart your phone scan the mmc or use mmc of less than 1GB.because according to Nokia 3110c supports only 512 mb of mmc.However,if this trick doesn't work the only solution is to flash the phone, so if you want to do it Click here1 ...and the flash file of 3110c file is here.Good luck thanks for visiting fixya

If your phone is detected to Pc when you connect via usb.Follow the instruction below

First download and install Pheonix from this link. Nokia Phoenix Service Software 2011 - Download secondly Download flash file from this link 3110c file and install it to C / program files/pheonix.. after finished this installation open pheonix . Inside the interface at the> top left <there you see "File" click there and choose "open file" and then select the approprait Product type i.e "which is written on the back panel inside the battery of every Nokia(Type RM-000).After doing this again at the left top count from "File"1..2..3..the 4th one is "Flashing" press there, when you click there you'll see three sub-menus, just select the "Firmware Update" again you'll see another interface. Look at the product code there should be blank and put your "mouse tool" at the straight end from the "Product Code" there is a Button and choose the code which is written in the back side of your phone. e.g CODE:0000000.if the same code does not found just take one which is higher. After this you can see "Dead phone USB flashing" click that box. Now this is the last stage... Connect your phone with the USB to your PC and let the driver install ...wait for a moment.(If your phone working).Lastly after just finished (In case your phone is Dead, unable to switch on in normal mode start from here) Connect the phone to pc without powering...insert good battery and Click the "Referbish" button after this, a message will prompt you "press power botton" etc. insert charger or press it and wait until the phone will Restart automatically in normal mode 10-15 minutes. The Usb cable you use is the original one that it was in the box when you bought it?

You will need a PC, Internet connection, the USB cable and d Nokia Software Updater.You can update your Nokia 3110c by connecting it to a PC via a USB cable and then imply follow the instructions given on the Nokia Software Update.

You don't need to format just do this...

3110c files And install it in your PC..Disconnect all usb devices.
Now connect the phone with usb data cable without power on the phone to PC.Open Nokia pheonix...Click to "FILE" and select "open product" Choose 3110c rm237.Next Click to "Flashing" and then open "FPS-8C FLASH " after opening this just click to "Close" button and again click to "Flashing" select "FIRMWARE UPDATE" NOW you can select the firmware version as well as the product code at the top right whch is showing a small browse window.Remember if the product code of the particular is not there just select the highest one.
After loading ..Click to "Dead phone" and again press to "REFURBISH"
Wait until a message shows that "PRESS POWER BUTTON" Press it and wait until the phone automatically switch on.

You will want to order the usb cord and driver disc off of ebay, newegg.com or amazon.com
Then you will want to go to bitpim.org and download the program.
After driver is downloaded or installed, then turn on phone, turn on bitpim, then hook up phone and sync phone with bitpim and now you are ready to do what you want.
