If you have one of the laptops connected to the network through wireless please ignore bit about cable and just follow further instructions. Basically you need to get in to settings of the router and there you can either view your password in Wireless section or you can change your password for something you will remember. Thank You for using FixYa.
Hi there I would tell you why:
1) your DSL speed band only 1.5M and the upload could be lower then 256K speed. that is not avalible to get good condition for more laptop wireless online at same time
2) other thing, your laptop wieless online in your router situation that depends on the laptop wireless card type, high level (faster)card will get more speed band and aganst other laptop.
so you could not setting any more to get improved.

I think you need to set up you home wireless network on your laptop again. I asume you set it up with your first adapter, but you need to set it up for the new adapter. If this doesn't help, include OS type on laptop. Then I can give a better solution.

Let me clarify to make sure I understand the problem: You set up your wireless router with a WPA 20 digit wireless key. You have a laptop which cannot connect with the 20 digit key specified. If I have misunderstood your issue, please let me know.
The first step always in this situation is to check and re-check your wireless key and make sure that you are entering it correctly. I will assume that you've already done this.
From there, you have 3 options to rectify the issue: 1) Set up the wireless router with a WEP wireless key. 2) Download a firmware update for your wireless adapter in your notebook to allow it to use WPA encryption. 3) Purchase a PCMCIA wireless card for your notebook that works with WPA encryption.
Please let me know if I can help any further.
Hope this helps. Please take a moment to rate this solution. Thanks.
