My kenmore elite #110.73012181 electric dryer with autonsense feature no longer sensing, keeps on drying for hours after clothes dry when on less dry mode or normal dry mode

The drying circuit has to have a sensor to control heat and the timer controls time (on timed drying). Often sensors fail "open" and dryers stop drying. This sensor or the circuit seems to have failed closed (runs all the time). I suspect the sensor has failed in the drying control.

Reset kenmore dishwasher

The most common "reset" key sequences are:
Heated Dry - Normal - Heated Dry - Normal; or
High Temp - Air Dry - High Temp - Air Dry; or
Hi Temp Scrub, Energy Saver Dry, Hi Temp Scrub, Energy Saver Dry; or
High Temp Wash, Heated Dry, High Temp Wash, Heated Dry).
On some of the newer Whirlpool, Kenmore, KitchenAid dishwashers, you start the diagnostic cycle by rapidly pressing the 3 left-most keys in the following sequence: 1 2 3, 1 2 3, 1 2 3.

Drying problems

Hi,
Check the front control panel for a AIR DRY / HEAT DRY switch. Perhaps the switch is in the AIR DRY position. If so and you really want to HEAT DRY your dishes, set the switch for HEAT DRY.
Second, it is not a bad thing to let your dishes AIR DRY. It saves money! Just open the Dish Washer door after the last rinse cycle has finished and let the dishes AIR DRY manually. In a hour or so they can usually be put away.
You can also check for the heating element.Your dishwasher has an electrical heating element that helps to dry the dishes. If the element is burned out, the dishes won't dry properly, and you need to replace the element. Many high-priced dishwashers have a small fan that blows air or heated air into the dishwasher to speed up the drying process. If the fan is defective, you need to replace it.
Thank you!

What is the best setting to dry jeans on a kenmore 9000 electric

Use Auto Dry for most things and vary the "dryness" level to more or less depending on the thickness of the material you are drying. Auto is most efficient and will adjust itself for finish time.

Auto dry and select "more dry" before hitting start, for jeans or towels.

Dishlex dx 403 does not dry dishes - fan dry on red led

Ther have been a lot of complaints about the drying performance of these machines. One solution suggested by Electrolux is to use the "anti bacterial" wash mode, as this is a higher temperature wash, therefore dishes dry better. If you are using Eco wash or Quick wash, drying performance is not very good- Electrolux recommend leaving door ajar at end of cycle to improve drying. Also, ensure your Rinse Aid compartment is topped up, as Rinse Aid greatly improves drying performance.
-Please note: these dishwashers will not dry plastics and other items that do not hold the heat very well!!
-Also, you should be able to hear the drying fan running at the end of cycle- if not, then you may have faulty fan (uncommon), or control board (more common).
Good luck!!
