It sounds like you already have battery problems. The unit functions until it exhausts what power it has and then blanks to reserve power for saved information. Contact the manufacturer.

Where did you buy it? Why not just contact them and ask for assistance? Alternatively bring it into a bike shop or bike co-op and ask them for help.

I think that the serial key was wrong and contact your dealer for a better assistance.

Some tires do this, the smooth drum does not have a good grip for a standard road tire.

The solution is to replace your tire with a trainer specific tire. There are several companies that make them. My favorite is Continental but Vittoria and others offer models as well. These tires use a special rubber that grips the drum better and lasts far longer than a standard tire.

#3 - Vittoria Zaffiro indoor trainer tire.

NOTE: THESE TIRES SHOULD NOT BE RIDDEN OUTSIDE ON THE ROADS. They are a special compound for the trainers and do not have enough grip for going around corners on the road.

If your rear skewer's unique lever design prevents it from being clamped you might want to seek out one of the garden-variety (boring) old-school skewers for use on the trainer. Plus, if it gets marred, no-biggie.
