How do i lock my linksys so only i can use it with a pass code?

TO SET UP OR CHANGE A USER CODE
1. With the door open, locate the red button on the back of the door near the hinge.
2. Press the red button and listen for the beep.
3. Immediately enter your new pass code (3-6 digits long)
4. Immediately after entering your new pass code, press the "A" or "B" button on the keypad. Your new user pass code is now stored.
NOTE:
This safe stores up to 2 pass codes (a user code and a manager code). Entering a third code will erase the
first pass code entered.

SETTING UP OR CHANGING A MANAGER PASS CODE
1. Open your safe with the pass code you wish to change and leave the door ajar.
2. Press the "0" button on the keypad twice. Press the red button, listen for a beep and then enter your new user pass code.
New user pass codes may be 3-6 digits long.
3. Immediately after entering your new code, press the "A" or "B" button on the keypad. Your user code is now changed.

If would like to remove a pass code from an apple device, you would login and head over to settings. Next click on general > pass code or pass code lock I can't remember which one > now click disable pass code or remove pass code and you will be proceeded to put in your pass code. Now if you've done correctly try to lock and unlock your phone. I hope this helps;)

If you have never been to this page before this is a list of defualt passwords to enter your page.

From here you can set your own wireless security mode and generate a passphrase or key to lock out intruders.

Log on to the router, go to wireless security.
I would choose WPA ( you choose the password)
WEP is much weaker, try not to use WEP ( It gives you a pass phrase/key)

Yes; the pass phrase is only about 9 digits long. Go back to the router and setup the WEP security again. You are possibly trying the long version that sometimes is displayed, but that is not the one. Enter a pass phrase (this is used to generate the code), then hit the 'Generate' key, and the code will be listed.

is the Sim locked or is the phone locked??

go to linksys.com and click on support and download the full user manual for your router. then find the homepage of the router IE http://192.168.0.1 and the default user name and password and go to the homepage and type in the user/pass to get to the settings of the router.
if you do not know the user/pass it may be because you changed it when you first set it up. you can reset it (also listed on the linksys site how to do this) but you may loose you settings for connecting to the net or keeping you computers connected to each other so reseting should be the last option used.
once in the homepage of the router you will be able to make any changes to settings you need even locking yourself out of the router and the net if you dont know what you are doing. the cd is used to do the bare minimum and in order to get you connected you can do a lot more in the routers pages than listed on the cd setup.

just remember if you make to many chages at once without testing to see if they work for you. you wont know what change broke or fixed your problem
