is the test tone loud or at the same level. you need to check the volume level of your player dvd, cd to make sure it's all the way up some players have volume level built into them.
I nce had the relay for the amplifier die on one of my receiver. Basically this will allow the amp to power on and supply voltage to the speakers. Same thing though, i could access all of the menus, adjust setting, and volume but no sound because the amp never clicked on.
This can be related to a fault in the potentiometer as it cut off the tracking of the voltage and gets back to feed the digital circuit. You need to check, sometimes a switch cleaning oil can help. Try to wriggle the pot control many times as it can help, if not replace.
First ;During listening FM ,Your " MUTE" switch is "ON" or "OFF" ? if not how about plain STEREO mode ? did you try it ?
Second..how about the other Modes , i.e ..CD ,DVD etc. ? same problem or it happens only in FM ?
ok..now the possible solution; sometimes FM stations do not properly triggers pro-logic circuit and cause such problem and you need to switch to STEREO or A.F.D mode to listen FM (AFM includes sub woofer).. This is true for FM only and it should not happen in other modes as DVD ,CD,Phone etc.. Hope this helps!..if more help requires pls let me know. Teac AG-V3050 and Teac AG-V8050 are very compatiable to help with this question the total watts per channel are 100 watts. Hope this answers or at least helps. Excellent unit, great power to supply great sound for the unit at its time.
If a unit turns on it isn't a blown fuse. Does the tuner give you indications that it is or is not tuning a station? Change the FM Mode to Mono. You should at least be able to hear FM hiss if the tuner is alive.
I have a Teac ag-7700 and when I would try to power it on it would shut off. I did get it to turn on for about 10 minutes and then it shut off. Now when I try to power it on the light on volume dial stays lit but the LED does not light up and no sound through speakers.
