Moving dryer vent from rear to left side of dryer

Get a dryer vent kit. Remove straight vent tube, knock out access on left side. Install new kit. Generally you need to take dryer apert to install but on some can be done thru vent holes in unit.

I bought a DeLonghi PACC120E portable a/c with no manual. Also, how do I vent it? It did not come with the vent.

All units of that sort come with a hose which goes on the back or the side, if you don't have this unit is useless

Need to change venting from back to right side

there are knock out panels on both sides of the dryer. knock out the one you want to use with a hammer and flat head screw driver or chisel/ you will then have to remove the back and disconnect the vent going out of the back of the machine and reinstall a new hose or pipe on the outlet where you removed the vent and run it through your new hole to the outside vent.

Is it possible to re-configure the rear vent on a Bosch dryer

Most dryers have that option but not on the left side. You will need to cut a hole in the left side dryer housing. Then you will need to dis-assemble the back panel of the dryer and disconnect the vent pipe connection inside the dryer. Then run the moisture vent into the dryer housing from the left side opening and connect it to the venting system inside the dryer. You might not be able to put the opening in the same spot as the right side so you should do a visual inspection inside the dryer before making the opening to verify nothing is in the way.

I have a brand new samsung DV448AGP dryer. It comes with a vent out the back and out the right side. I need it to vented out the left side? any suggestions

A bit difficult to do. If yo remove the back panel and look at the exhaust duct to determine if you can swing it 90 degrees to the other side?? It may be possible but you'll have to look. Then switch it to the other side. Then of course you will need to cut a hole for it to exit the machine. That's the deal to get it out the other side.

How do i side vent my maytag atlantis electric dryer?

Attached is a link to a diagram of your dryer.

http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=5170653

You would have to remove the back panel. Remove the existing vent pipe, install a 90 deg elbow of the same size diameter. Then cut a hole in the right or left side of the dryer cabinet that would line up with the new elbow.
Check the side cabnet of your dryer, it appears on the diagram that there may be a 4" knock out for a side exit vent.
Good luck, let me know.

Exhaust Need to install side exhaust on maytag dryer

There will be an indented area about 4 inches in diameter if your able to put one in easily. Other wise you'll need either a hole saw 4" or cut a hole in the side of the dryer but before you do make sure your inside piping will reach the new area you want to come from.
Another suggestion would be make a base for your dryer to set on 6 to 8" high cut a hole in the side of it and in the top where you can run the dryer hose through then continue on outside with the hose-vent.

If this helps you please rate me accordingly and good luck.

Need to side vent LG dryer

if you have an opening on the side then yes you can shorten the stiff tube that comes out the back but i recommend you get a stiff elbow to make the turn and add whatever is needed to come out the side then attach the flexible to the wall. that's the safe way of doing it. That air is pretty hot in the cabinet
