if you look under the sink at the bottom of the tap there should be a long threaded screw with a nut fastening it to the sink by a curved metal bracket and a rubber washer,( try tightening this.)sometimes the bracket and washer corode if they have then you will have to replace them
Faucets secure to the sink in two general ways-
With a nut that tightens (from under the sink) on the shaft of the faucet
or
some type of metal bracket the uses screws to clamp on the sink or counter top.
If you look from under the sink you should be able to see which you have. If there is a large nut around the shaft of the faucet you can tighten this up but it is hard to reach. A tool is made for this it's called a basin wrench, it makes it easier to do this.
If there is a screw or a pair of screws then a long screwdriver is all you need. get it good and tight but don't go so far as to chip the sink or countertop.
yes there is, with a pair of slip joints you can tighten from underneath, it is above the supply line, the best thing to do is turn off the water, disconnect the supply line and tighten the nut, then reconnect the supply line and turn back on the water. Good Luck Tim
the faucet comes with two plastic nuts once you set the faucet into the sink you have the 2 supply male lines use the plastic nuts to attach the faucet to the sink and tighten by hand
there are mounting plates underneath the counter which fasten the faucet to the counter. This unit will need a small allen wrench if memory serves me correctly...keep in mind that all moen faucets are lifetime guranteed and alot of folks do not take advantage of this amazing warranty which makes these the most desirable faucet on the market.however the need to tighten this faucet prob isnt a warranty replacement procedure but can be determined once mounting items and faucet is inspected...good luck
Make sure that there is a weighted ball connected about halfway down the retracting hose. If not you need to go to a supply house and purchase one and its a simple install. However if there is one attached you can loosen the 2 screws and slide it up closer to faucett but not so far that you can't pull out the sprayer as far as you need. Also make sure nothing is obstructing it under the sink. bottles, cleaners, etc.
