Replacing the capacitors would be a good start. Replace all the ones with the same capacitance and voltage rating even if they do not look bulge.
Let me know if you require further assistance.

Follow these steps to figure out what problem is.
When you turn on TV, look at the back and see if the back light on. If it is on, the power supply and inverter work fine. The suspection now is main board and T-con board (the small board on the middle-top of the panel)
To find the problem from the main board or not. Look at the power supply and measure Vs on - turn on the TV, this approx 5 vlt DC needs constant once you turn on the TV. If it is drop or unstable - main board problem - replace it.
If Vs on is good - disconnect the T-con cable from the power sup. If power sup stop clicking - T-con need replacing. Hope it help.

Hi,
Would troubleshooting chart of LN-S4052D help you to diagnose problem?
Let me know to send you pdf file of troubleshooting for no power problem, it has details to test what volts on what points.
Thanks.
Below is first page image of related service manual just for reference.

Apparently this is a known problem with flat panel TVs made a few years ago due to bad capacitors in the power supply. This same problem appeared in computer mother boards at about the same time so that the capacitors went open or shorted causing problems. There is videos on You Tube that addresses this problem see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZccykxrtX9g as a starting point and look around for other repairs

Hi,
This is an indication that the inverter circuitry or still the power supply is the caused of the problem. Inverter circuitry is the one producing high voltage for the backlight. The capacitor that you've already replaced are the mainboard's filter electrolytic capacitor that's why it has sound now.
Inverter circuitry and the power supply circuitry is come in only one board, I would advice you to replaced the power supply board rather than troubleshoot it because it will cost almost the same. Here's the LINK for the power supply board. Please double check the actual part no. of your unit which is printed on the white sticker on the board itself before ordering.
Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!
Thanks for using Fixya.
