Slipping clutch

The hydraulic clutch wont cause slip, unless the slave cylnder piston is stuck. The hydraulic part just replaces the cable
If its a wet clutch make sure you are using motorcycle oil, some car oils can cause clutch slip, If your using a synthetic oil, you might try a mineral oil to see it it makes a difference, 600 miles is not enough to wear the plates

What is the oil sensor and what does it look like?

DO YOU MEAN THE OIL LIFE MONITOR SYSTEM WHICH IS IN MOST NEWER CARS? IF SO THE EASY EXPLANATION IS IT IN THE ENGINE COMPUTER. IT DOES A CALCULATION OF THE ENGINE TEMP AND RPM TO DETERMINE THE ENGINE OIL LIFE EXPECTANCY. IT IS NOT ADVISABLE TO USE THE SYSTEM TO DO OIL CHANGES BY AS IT CAN BE DECEIVING. THE LITTLE OLD LADY GOING TO CHURCH AND THE STORE WILL HAVE A GREATER OIL LIFE EXPECTANCY THAN SAY JUNIOR WHO GOES AS FAST AS HE CAN TO THE NEXT STOP LIGHT.

DON'T GO OVER 5000K MILES IS THE BEST THING TO DO. OR GO BY GRANDPAS RULE OF 3000K MILES.
