How do I uninstall dell pc tune up without using the typical method? Can't uninstall going through control panel. My subscription expired and it won't let me uninstall. Message saying uninstall program of dell pc tune up is no longer there.

LOL, you are going from one terrible product to another one. Norton and McAfee are core hogs, use a lot of resources and will slow your system to a crawl, especially if you let it expire. Why would you want something on your system that is so difficult to uninstall? Give em the boot. Try one of the FREE Antivirus programs such as AVG, AVAST or Microsoft Security Essentials.

Dell did not create this monster, your third party software is the culprit and they just don't deal with it if it's not their product.

Anyway if you tried the normal uninstall by clicking Start/Programs and opening the McAfee Folder and clicking uninstall and you're getting the BSOD, maybe try uninstalling it in Safe Mode With Networking.

Turn off the computer, then hit the power button to turn itback on and immediately start hitting the F8 key repeatedly until you see SAFEMODE. Take the Safe Mode With Networking option and let it boot up. Safe Mode will lookdifferent to you, the screen will be darker and the icons bigger, this isnormal.You can also go into the Control Panel and Uninstall the Program. Click Start/Control Panel look for Program and Features or Programs or Uninstall.

Hi there! just follow the steps for you to uninstall the program :)
1.Click the "Start" button located on the bottom left of the task bar of your computer.
2.Scroll to "Control Panel" and click on it.
3.Click on the "Uninstall a Program" link under programs from the list of control menus or features that are displayed in the window.
4.Scroll down to "Avast Antivirus" from the list of programs that open and click on it. Click on the pop-up that says "Uninstall/Change." Depending on the version of "Avast Antivirus" that is installed on your PC, different operations such as "Modify, Remove or Repair" are displayed.
5.Click "Remove" and then "OK." Removing the Avast antivirus program will take a few minutes.

The printer you want use, just given a print to that printer will tuned into online, if it not happed then use these two methods:-
1. set as default printer from control panel 2. re-install the printer after un-installation

Or, use Add/Remove Programs to uninstall Norton, and then download _free_ anti-virus software: http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials

Go to Control Panel > add/remove programs and uninstall Norton 360 from there.
After uninstall is complete then proceed with restart and then install the new version.
In case you are unable to remove the software via add/remove programs then reinstall the old expired version (this will repair the old installation). Restart then uninstall via the method given above i.e. through add/remove programs.
This software is a problem when uninstalling..you are not alone.

A lot of programs do not get listed in the Install/Uninstall applet in control panel. For these programs you can usually go through the start menu to the program in questions and usually there is a shortcut/icon in there for Uninstall.

Most of the Norton antivirus comes with one year subscription. date u mentioned here seems like more then 1 year old. That's why it says expired
If you dont want to spend any more money on antivirus then uninstall this one and download AVG from this site. this is really good antivirus for free and good for ever.

try using CCleaner to uninstall then run the registry cleaner.

Did your music subscription service expire? That would cause it to read every song as zero. Definitely try the rest method first. Disable auto-synchronization feature for all programs that you sync the device to.
