According to Apple, if you have forgotten the code, you can unlock the IPod by doing the following:
Connect your IPod to the primary computer you use it with (the first one IPod synced with), and open iTunes. When you disconnect iPod from the computer, it will no longer be locked.
If you can't unlock IPod using either [the code or connecting it to the computer you use to manage its songs]. . . you can restore your iPod to factory settings using iPod Updater. Please note that this will erase all data on your iPod. Afterwards, you can add your music and data back to your iPod.
If you want to change the primary computer that your IPod is associated with, do this:
1. Restore your iPod. Warning: The restore process cannot be undone.
All of your songs and files will be deleted. Always make a backup of your important data.
2. Connect your iPod to the computer that you want to be the primary computer.
3. Open iTunes and synchronize.
Apple also notes that company "representatives cannot unlock an iPod if you forget your combination. If you can't unlock your iPod and you don't have access to the primary computer, your only option is to restore the IPod, which will erase all music and data."
Good Luck, I hope this helps

Need to unlock the screen

Hello,

There are two options by which you can unlock the code on your ipod. Follow any of the procedures below to unlock your ipod.

Unlock with the Primary Computer
  1. Plug the iPod into the primary computer linked to that iPod, the first computer you synchronized it with unless you have designated another computer as the primary computer.
  2. Open itunes and sync the iPod as normal.
  3. Remove the iPod, following the normal removal procedure. The iPod unlocks automatically as you remove it.
Unlock by Restoring
  1. Restore the iPod to factory settings if you do not have access to your primary computer. This erases all of the data you have stored on the iPod.
  2. Plug your iPod into the new computer you want to be the primary computer. Open iTunes and click on the "Restore" button.
  3. Reload your data, if it is available and sync your iPod. Remove it following normal procedures.
Take care

I forgot my unlock code for my Ipod touch and really need a default code.

There is not a default code to unlock any locked iPod. This would defeat the purpose of the iPod's security.

You can unlock the iPod touch by putting the iPod touch into recovery mode, connecting the iPod to the computer it was last synced with, and then restoring the iPod.

To do this:
1) Turn the iPod off.
2) Hold down the Home button and plug the iPod into the computer it was last synced with.
3) Release the Home button when the iTunes image appears on the iPod's screen.
4) Start up iTunes and after it recognizes that the iPod is in recovery mode, follow the on screen instructions to restore the iPod.

Note: This may cause you to lose some of the data stored on the iPod.

If this doesn't work, call Apple Customer Support.

Can't unlock ipod :(

You should always have your ipod library file backed up to prevent this.
If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with
which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the
device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced
with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your
data will not be present Follow the steps that i have outlined below. If this does not completely help your situation
please let me know and i will be glad to assist you. According to Apple, if you have forgotten the code, you can unlock the IPod by doing the
following: 1 If you can't unlock IPod using either [the code or connecting it to the computer you use to
manage its songs. . . Plug the iPod USB cable into the bottom of the iPod Nano. 2 Plug the other end of the iPod USB cable into a free USB port on a Mac or PC computer. 3 Open the iTunes application by clicking on the Dock icon on a Mac or using the Start menu on a
PC. 4 Click on the name of your iPod Nano under the "Devices" list in the iTunes window. 5 Click on the "Sync" button to establish a connection between your iPod and the computer. 6 Click on the eject symbol next to your iPod's name after the syncing process has finished. 7 Unplug your iPod Nano. The device will be unlocked and you will be able to access all normal
features again. if that does not work you can restore your iPod to factory settings using iPod Updater. Please
note that this will erase all data on your iPod. Afterwards, you can add your music and data back to your iPod. If you want to change the primary computer that your IPod is associated with, do this: 1. Restore your iPod. WARNING: The restore process cannot be undone. assist you. If this assisted you please feel free to rate the comment. thanks and have a great

Locked iPod

You can unlock your iPod nano in two ways:
A Enter the combination on iPod nano by using the Click Wheel to select the numbers
and pressing the Center button to confirm them. If you enter the wrong
combination, it flashes red. Try again.
A Connect iPod nano to the primary computer you use it with, and iPod nano
automatically unlocks.
Note: If you try these solutions and you still can’t unlock iPod nano, you can restore
iPod nano. See “Updating and Restoring iPod Software” on page 50 for more
