Take the veh to any GM dealer shop. Show them the ownership of the veh and they can give you the code for restarting your radio for free. It will just cost you time.

Honda civic gli radio replacement won't work

Dannielle, if the previous owner installed the radio, it must have worked. It is possible that error code may have no connection with the replaced radio which may work when connected to battery. It depends on the complexity of the new radio. If it is simple, s/b ok.

Radio Codes

A dealer will have this code based on the Vin. How ever if you have the original owners manual it should be in it.

Took batery out to charge it, when I put the batery back in the car started fine, everything works fine except the radio, all lights are on but there is no sound coming frm the speakers?

It's an anti-theft thing. A code has to be punched in to the radio to make it work again. If you are the original owner that code should be somewhere in the paperwork. Between a dealer or previous owner you of your car you should be able to retrieve that code. Hope that helps..

Code radio Audi A6 auz1z7p4729562

Press and hold (at the same time) the AM/FM and the SCAN buttons until the display reads "1000".
Use the station preset buttons 1,2,3,4 to change each of the digits to the proper code. Button 1 changes the first digit (on the left), button 2 changes the second digit, etc.
Note: supposedly the programmable units were originally coded with either "1111" or "1234" by the dealer. It is quite possible that the code was never changed by previous owners, so if you don't know the code, you can try these.
Press and hold the AM/FM and SCAN buttons again until the radio comes on.
If you fail to give the correct code after two tries, the unit will be locked in "safe" mode and won't change. To try again, leave it switched on for approximately one hour.

hope above work with u

Sec lock on readio 1994 toyota celica disconnected

call the dealer with your VIN number, they will call the manufacturer and call you back with the code, alternatively, look in your owners manual in the front and rear page, some times dealers write them in there, also look in the radio pages they may have written there as well. Good luck
