Re: I want to get new P4VMM2 motherboard installer
Try to download P4VMM2 in elitegroup website since it is the manufacturer of your mainboard. Try to look for your specific m-board version on the links below.

You will need to install either DDR RAM (DDR 200 or DDR 226) or SDRAM (PC133 or PC100) memory. You cannot install both, you need to choose. The motherboard supports a maximum 2GB and there are two DDR and two PCI slots so 1GB +1GB would be the assumed maximum.

go to www.drivermax.com, and there download the driver max software & install it. It will automatically detect new hardware and installs the required drivers.
Whenever you try to upgrade motherboard and CPU's with Windows XP, you're probably going to have to format your drive and re-install XP. When you originally install XP it detects the motherboard and IDE controlers for your hard drives and installs the drivers needed but it doesn't install all drivers for motherborads and IDE controlers. When you swap out motherboards and the system tries to fire it doesn't have drivers available for the new motherboard and can't complete the boot into windows. Every once in a while you get luck and the new and old motherboard can use the same drivers but this is very rare. So when upgrading motherboards plan on backing up your hard drive of all files you need to keep and being prepared to format and re-install windows.
I assume you are installing DIMM modules (this motherboard has DDR and DIMM sockets). The RAM you are using is not compatible with your motherboard (it's 2-sided or two fast). exchange memory modules in the place where you get them.
You will need drivers for the FX5000 first, disable the driver for the one your using, shut down and then install the new FX5000, boot up and wait until the VGA comes on, it can take several mins sometimes.
