SOURCE: replacement part for a breadmaker need a paddle

Yipes this is an old machine too. We have an old one as well and I heard just yesterday that someone had to get a new paddle from THAILAND for theirs. Likely on eBay. Maybe you could try there and see what is available.

Paddles are no longer easily available in North America.

However if you are lucky to get a new one for your machine, the next time, don't try to force it out of the container. Put some warm water in there to cover the paddle. Then in maybe an hour or less, it will lift out as slick as can be.

How to remove a drive roller on a black & decker ds321 type 2

Just finished the exact thing, so here's the read deal:

    - The screws on the drive roller ARE reverse thread.
    - My old roller got too hot and separated from it's metal core, leaving the core tightly screwed onto the drive shaft. If you can unscrew it off of there (unscrew = clockwise!), just screw the new one back on. If not, you are going to have to take the sucker apart, but it's not too bad if you follow this, now that I did it the hard way:
-- You need to remove the belt plate assembly. It's only 4 screws: an obvious one recessed between the drive roller and the red belt-tensioner lever (see picture, white arrow), then two on the other side next to the black belt straightener knob (see 2nd picture, black arrows), right next to each other. Finally, you have to unscrew the black belt straightener knob (2nd picture, red arrow) all the way out so it will release the belt holding plate assembly, which should then slide out.
From here, you can hold the drive shaft firmly while you reverse-thread unscrew the old drive roller (or it's remaining pieces) and put on the new one. I had to cut mine off with a Dremmel tool it was on there so tight!). BE CAREFUL NOT TO DAMAGE THE COG THREADS ON THE DRIVE SHAFT; hold it with slip-lock pliers and a heavy rag or something to prevent damage.

    Good luck!

Where can i buy a spool cover for Black & Decker

I have been unable to find any information on that model. Maybe one of the newer models that have the 10" cut feature have parts you can use. Go here to look at them and their parts. Check the ones starting in the 12th row...with model 82300...click on a model...parts list with diagrams and prices will come up. You should have some luck with this at some point. Happy hunting!
