you are going to have make and model ## of the car stereo, if GM
still go to have model ## off the back of stereo and what would be better is a part number would be very good.
Autozone.com has free wiring diagrams. You have to register your vehicle, it's free. They will ask for year--make-- model all that good stuff. Then, click on vehicle repair guides and so on.

your local library should have Mitchell books with wiring diagrams in them the books should be in the reference section u probably wont be able to take book home but u should be able to photo copy the pages u need
If its an aftermarket stereo, the Yellow wire will be 12v all the time. Red is when ignition is turned on, and black is ground. The rest are speaker wires. Mike. Rate 100% please.

your installing an aftermarket cd player in place of factory radio?
it would be best to buy the harness adapters. they plug into the factory harness and will tell you what all the wires are. harness is usually only 10-15 dollars. here is the diagram also.
