I had that problem with my 2004 Hyundai. My mechanic said it is from temperature guage in cluster was worn out after testing many ways to find faults. He did change the used cluster of my dashboard and it worked fine.. I spend lots of many of complaining of overheat. Have your mechanic check with electric temperature guage as it wont work right..

There is a blinking red led light under lower left side of driver and steering wheel attached to dash. It blinks ALWAYs!!!

This is most likely your "Valet" alarm disable switch. Use to disable your car alarm so you can keep your Alarm Fob and let a Valet, mechanic, friend etc. operate the car without the alarm being functional. If it is an after market alarm, consult the mfg's manual, if OEM contact dealer for operating instructions.

you might be getting excessive heat soak for the old starter 9 yaers is a good run it might be time to pony up for a new one but i would definetly check all the connections corrosion on terminals and rusty grounds hope this helps

I have a 2003 Hyundai Sonata that just dies when i'm driving

Not the battery. Once the car is started, a bad battery will not cause it to stop running all of a sudden.
For engine to run you need - compression, air, fuel, spark.
Might want to check out your ignition coil for an intermittent condition - try replacing it.
And if it does not turn over(crank) check the wiring going to the starter motor, solenoid, for good connectivity. And make sure that your fuel pump is always getting power and pumping.

Stopps When is hot

The problem is your crank shaft position sensor. It is usually behind the harmonic balancer.

Wants to overheat even when fans come on

it sounds like your fans are not working. you should check your owners manual and locate the fuse for the engine fan and check it. now if the fuse is good Bring the car to your local repair shop and have this problem checked out. asap

High Temp

ok well there must be a blockage in the radiator if u cahnged the thermostat or bleed the system that means take of the radiator cap and run the car 15 minitues till all the air bubbles come out and also make sure all your cooling fans are working
