First Option:
mostly nokia chargers doesn't make problems...
just try the following..
connect ur mobile with a system (usb cable)...
found out whether it is charging or not...
if the same prblm appears then there is a prblm in ur cell phone or power jack(socket)...
if it charged with usb cable buy a new charger
Please change Phone Bettery and check the charging
IF Charging Problem not Solved So
Secend Option:
Your Phone charging IC Fault So Please change charging IC
And charging Problem will Solved Quickly

Inorder to reset the phone tofactory default follw the steps below
1 in standby screen press menu
2 choose settings
3 choose security
4 under lock code in the last 4 digits of the mobile phone
5 choose reset phone
6 choose reset all to reset it to factory default settings

How do i change a ic402 to be boost compatible

I do not know about your make but in Nokia if an IC goes bad the phone is scrapped by the company. That's how difficult it is to change/replace an IC. I would not recommend that to anyone.

if the ic402 is IDEN it won;t work in ireland because it is NOT TRUE GSM like they use in europe - it is nextel / boost only
