I don't know what dc adapter to buy for my zenith portable dvd player model dvp615. I wanted to buy something local because we are leaving on a trip in the morning. Can you tell me what volt/watt car adapter to look for.

ZENITH laser not working

Have U tried calling Zenith customer support? If they cannot help U, you usually can get it serviced at your local Radio Shack, although they may charge a lot, possibly as much as your unit is worth. You might want to google the laser lens and then see if you can get a replacement part, and then pay your local service center to put it in for U.

I lost my battery charger thinghy ......... can I buy another one? Where?

The charger needs to be 9.5 volts DC,2-1/2 amps. The polarity(plus or minus) is shown on the side of the unit. (It is negative on the outside and Positive on the inside) DO not reverse the polarity or you will damage the device.

You can buy universal changeable chargers at places such as Radio SHack, Best Buy, ABC Warehouse, and other stores.

DVP615 A/V cable

I don't know if the person who posted this problem checks back for the answer.. but I just called Zenith.. who's actually run by LG now I suppose.. Anyways, the customer service rep verified that the a/v cable is just the standard RCA a/v cable that you can pick up anywhere, so it should be easily replaceable if you don't find the original..
