Computer screen the screen is sideways. how do you put it straight again?

indicates that a tie rod end has broken or other very serious problem has occured
take it to a front end suspension and steering specialist shop for a proper diagnosis and quote

Sideways Screen: try this
Try pressing Ctrl + Alt + UP Arrow Key, or try Ctrl + Alt + and a different Arrow Key.

If that does not work: Right-click on empty Desktop > Graphics Options > Rotation.

right click on mouse and restore the display option

if the distortion looks like sideway lines with weird trails and double images its most likely a tab bond issue. If its straight vertical lines then its likely the Tcon

To make the screen go back upright, while holding down _both_ the "ctrl" and "alt" keys, press the (arrow) up key.

As for the touchpad, you'll want to re-install the driver. Go into Device Manager by right clicking "Computer" or "My Computer" and select "manage", then click on Device Manager.

Once in Device Manager, click to expand "mice and other pointing devices" Right click the touchpad (usually Alps or Synaptics) and select "uninstall" MAKE SURE the box next to "delete the driver software for this device" is _NOT_ checked and continue. We just want to re-install the driver, not remove it. Then reboot. Give Windows a few minutes after the reboot and it will then re-install the driver and you should be OK.

You must have pressed a combination of keys that cause the problem. Press a combination of keys- "Alt + Ctrl + arrows keys "


Alt + Ctrl + up arrow key will again straight the image of the monitor.

you can put a washer between the wagaon and the wheeler that ataches to the wagan so that its a little stiffer to turn but it wont stiffen up too much.it should stiffen enough so it doesnt turn when you go straight

press and hold ctrl + alt key + up arrow key. this will put your computer back to lanscape.

If your screen is actually installed backwards take it back and exchange it for new one, but if the screen is not actually installed backwards then go into the settings screen on the gps unit and find the orientation section, this will change the display to something a little more readable to you. And as a side note some of these things look like they should be straight up and down but they actually designed to work sideways, gives you a wider view and the manufacturer a little more screen room to put more information onto the screen.
