Our rv airconditioner has only been used several times since we got the rv. At the end of last year we moved to a permanent site in an all sun location, and really need to have it working! When it was very hot out this weekend we put thermostat at 75, it ran for an hour or two then shut off and tripped the breaker. We switched the wire on the breaker over to another air conditioner circuit hoping this would solve the problem. This one tripped also after two hours. We turned it on over night as it was very warm and it ran all night OK. We are a month or so out of warranty, any suggestions, inside filters are clean?

the starter motor must spin fast, and be robust.
battery good, and fully charged, it must be.
MOST ENGINES THIS OLD ARE NOT GOOD, TEST THAT YET USING REAL TOOLS?

mine was doing the same thing. I found the plastic blower wheel was warped from years of sitting in the sun. Changed it with a new one and now my motor will last longer.

may have slipped on the track mechanism and needs adjusted custom car shop may help with this..good luck..
