What type of memory card will work for fujifilm finepix jv100 so i can record in HD? For some reason, I can only record in HD for 40 seconds and then my video automatically stops and saves. But I can record full lengthly movies on lower quality.

Card protected

Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

My memory card is not being recognised on my Fujifilm JV100 however it is being recognised when i insert in in the port in the laptop

When you remove the card from the laptop, are you remembering to use the "safely remove hardware" function? If not, that could be the problem. You may have to format the card in the camera to get it working again. This will erase it so download any pics you want to save first.

When i insert my fujifilm 2gb memory card into model jv100 all i can do is look through my pictures i cannot delete or use anything else ,and a icon comes up in the centre of the screen when i look at my...

A few things but the first that comes to mind is that there is a little slid lock on the upper left side of the memory card. This lock needs to be pushed forward towards the gold contacts to unlock the card. Another problem could be tat the 2gig card is full of pictures and needs to be downloaded to your computer. Once this is done the card will need to be formatted to clean the old pictures off and make the card ready for new pictures. I suspect when you take this card out (2gig) the camera defaults to internal memory and yes everything will work as it should until the internal memory is full of pictures as well

Fuji jv100. My camera is not being recognised by Finepix, how can I upload the pictures from teh camera to my PC?

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

Just bought FUJIFILM FinePix JV100 charged the battery until the green charge light came on........put battery and SD card in camera----it won't turn on.

Take it back to the vendor, tell them your problem and ask them to demonstrate the camera to your satifaction. If they can't request refund or replacement.

You should have any problems with a new camera.

Hello,
You only use the internal memory (24MB). Internal memory only records 41sec. Please check the settings. If HD records are recorded to internal memory.
