I forgot my google account username and password so now im locked out of my phone. i dont want to lose any of my stuff by reseting the phone. i need help.

Reset your pattern (Android 4.4 or lower only)

1. After you've tried to unlock your phone multiple times, you'll see "Forgot pattern." Tap Forgot pattern.
2. Enter the Google Account username and password you previously added to your phone.

Reset the screen unlock pattern

If the incorrect screen unlock pattern is entered five times in a row, the phone is locked.
Note: In order to reset the screen unlock pattern you need to have a registered Google account on your phone. If you don't have a registered Google account on your phone, you must repair the phone software before tapping Forgot pattern.
To reset the screen unlock pattern by answering a security question:

1. If entering the incorrect screen unlock pattern five times, wait for 30 seconds and then tap Forgot pattern?.
2. Tap Answer question > Next.
3. Enter the answer for the security question.
4. Tap Unlock.

To reset the screen unlock pattern by entering Google account details:

1. Tap Enter Google accounts details > Next.
2. Tap the Username field and enter the phone registered Google account username.
3. Tap the Password field and enter the phone registered Google account password.
4. Tap Unlock.

To repair the phone software:

1. On the computer: Open PC Companion 2.0.
2. In the Support Zone application, click Start > Repair and follow the instructions on the screen.

Note: The installed software on your phone will be replaced, and all personal data stored will be lost.
Tip: If it is not possible to repair the phone software, please contact your Sony Ericsson Customer support.

Do you want to get all your contacts back?
If not then just flash stock rom into your device using ODIN. You will get your phone into working condition but will loose your contacts and messages if they are in the phone memory.

Give your phone to the company's service center, they would solve your problem.

If you are concerned about security of the link above, navigate to Google's website and click on "Sign in" then click on "Can't Access your account?"
You will be able to reset your Google account there. Then use the log in information to unlock your phone.

IDK about a simple legitimate fix for this. I was just messin around with the pattern, hit "forgot pattern" to see what it does. It asks me for the Google username and password, but has no way for me to go back! I know the pattern! The Motorola Droid is free from this problem, when on the forgot password screen, it still allows me to go back to the pattern screen. Very disappointing HTC...

On the other hand, there is a bit of a "hack" that can be used to solve this. Create a new Google account. Then call the locked phone from another phone. While in the call, you have full access to the phone. Press home, go into your settings, and add your new Gmail account into the phone. End the call, go back, and enter your new Gmail info. You may also need to enable Wifi while the call is still connected, I'm not sure if 3G will work for the sync while the phone is "locked".

you should not lose phone numbers as they are on the sim and on google so do a master reset, Turn off phone hold home and left for 24 seconds and phone screen will show an exclamation triangle , open the key pad and press alt w Then turn G1 on again with the on button while holding the home button. It should come back on with the touch the adroid screen like new. Hope this helps it worked for me when I had same problem , Lost lots but numbers were safe and droid stuff easy and quick to re load up again
