I have a prochem legend se and a blower moter need to put 2 ae42 belts on. I can't figure out HOW? The pulleys are both on shafts and a tight area. They are facing opposite ways so the blower on bottom gets a belt on the back which goes on the front of the engine pulleys and the front pulley on blower goes to the back on engine. This is a kohler engine with a roots blower. This is a truckmount carpet cleaning machine but maybe just help with installing belts on pulleys

Hi, you may have more than one problem. There should be one belt from the mower deck going to the electric clutch pulley which is on the engine shaft. On the shaft there are two pulleys, one belt comes from the mower deck, and the other comes from the transaxle pulley. check to see if your belts are in the right areas.

If this doesn’t work for you, please write back. Thanks,

SOURCE: replacing belt, can't seem to get belt tight. Need to know how to wrap belt around pulleys.

You can find the belt routing for your Maytag here:

If it won't tension, perhaps you have the wrong belt. The correct belt can be purchased from your local source or this website.

For those of you with other Brands of dryers start here:

Note: After unplugging dryer; The belts for most regular dryers are accessed by removing the front panel.

What is cause of faint burning smell from dryer? I believe my recent repair may have damaged motor shaft pulley so causing friction with rubber drum belt. Do I need to repair belt & motor?

If it were me, I'd probably just clean up the scratches on the pulley and or motor shaft. You can do so with a small file or sand paper. If you believe the friction caused by this roughens is due to the scratches, try smoothing them down. The grooves remaining won't harm the belt or pulley, but raised edges could. When I worked in an electric motor shop, we repaired many a motor shaft by filing the bad nicks caused by pliers and wrenches, with a little filing as the motor turned.

I have p 1508 Make noisy sound and move like about to explode But when work without cloth nothing So what is the problem

Hello. If the dryer is making a loud "banging" sound with clothes in it, the problem might very well be a worn out drum support roller. I need the complete model number to help you accurately. Most dryers have 4 drum support rollers--2 mounted on the back wall and 2 mounted on the front bulkhead. They generally are made of thick rubber with a machined steel core--polished so it glides smoothly on a matching machined shaft. The rubber can become worn and develop a flat area that "thumps" loudly. If the drum is empty, it may just "skip over" this damaged roller area. Now, if the dryer is squealing loudly, this is a good indicator of a bound-up idler pulley. It's a spring-tensioned pulley that the drum belt rides on to keep it tightly in contact with the drum to make it spin. Hair, lint, other debris often gets in-between the roller and shaft, causing it to bind up and wear on the belt--also causing a loud squealing sound. Next, a loud sound could be caused by an object getting caught in the blower housing and binding up the fan which pushes hot air. Socks, underwear, small pieces of clothing, etc. are NOTORIOUS for causing this! Check the blower for obstructions. I hope this helps you!

Switching a kawasaki fb460v to another lawn mower with the same enigine one is new and i want to replace the old one with the new one. I can't figure out how to get the moter off the pulley in order to...

If you are talking about the pulley or blade clutch and pulley on the bottom of the lower engine crankshaft end, there is a bolt through the center of it that holds it to the engine. This bolt must be removed in order to get the pulley off. Sometimes they can be stuck with dirt and/or rust so you may need to spray the shaft with a good penetrating oil from the top of the pulley and let it soak for a while to get it free. If the belts are still on it, remove the blade belt and lock the brake/clutch down to remove the tension off the motion drive belt

Screeching snow blower

On one side of your machine you will find a cover that you can remove, the belt for the auger is in there. From what I can see there is no adjustment. Check to see how the belt looks. If it's chewed up it will need to be replaced. If you remove the belt try to turn the impeler to see if it turns freely, if it doesn't then check to see if there is something wedged. if nothing is wedged and the belt is off and it still don't turn by hand it could posibly be a bad bearing.if it does turn by hand. Also check the belt pulleies to see if they are ok, the only pulley that will sshould spin freely is the idler pulley, the one on the engine shaft should spin the moter so make sure you pull the spark plug wire off to check that one, and the auger pulley should spin with the auger.

Blower moter fan

Before attempting to remove blower, run the motor and note the direction of rotation. The blower wheel can be very difficult to remove. It is screwed on to the motor shaft opposite to the motor rotation such that every time the motor starts, the blower wheel gets tighter. The best way to remove, is to put an adjustable wrench on the blower wheel (from the motor side) and using another wrench or locking pliers on the side of the motor shaft where the belt goes. Rotate the motor shaft where the belt goes, in the opposite direction of normal rotation while holding the wrench on the blower wheel. It will be VERY TIGHT. If unsuccessful, the only alternative is to strike the blower wheel REALLY hard and break it off. GOOD LUCK!
