My stereo wont read any CDs and i've tried all of the manual suggestions. SS-RG444

Hi Wendy Depending on what fuse you are looking for there are three locations. There is a large fuse box under the bonnet, there is one at left hand front kick panel and one possibly in boot left side above the battery. good luck.

Clean the optical unit and see if the disc turns or tries to turn , if this wont detect or read it is possible that the optical head is faulty and needs to be replaced.

You can not use normal Data CDs. Use CD-R Digital Audio CDs or CD-R Audio recordable CDs. If you use correct Digital Audio Recordable CDs, it will show OPC. Once you press Recording, audio out is coming. Otherwise you can not listing to audio. Please read manual carefully. Above will solve your matter.

its a mains control curcuit problem it needs to go to the shop..

IF ITS BURNT CDS SOME DONT READ TRY A REG CD IF NOT THE EYE IS FUKED

wonder if the manual says anything on the flashing standbylight? but ill bet the flashing is a protector,which means the speaker amplifier is shorted or dodod. so disconnect the speaker wires first .

I have a Dual xdvd8180 dvds multimedia reciever 7" digital touchscreen in my car and it worked fine for the longest time but now it wont read any of my cds.. burnt or original discs.. nor will it read dvds.. i tried cleaning it with a disk cleaning kit and it wouldn't even play that without skipping..idk whats wrong.. any help??

replace the stereo its not worth fixing

IF THIS PROBLEM HAPPENS TO ALL CDS PLAYED, COULD BE THE OPTICALS LENS IS DIRTY, TRY TO CLEAN IT, OR IF ORGINAL CD CAN BE PLAYED THEN THE OPTICAL LENS ARE NOT PROGRAMMED TO READ THE COPIED ONES

The optical CD reading mechanism needs to be changed, take it to a repair center. These parts are not user-replaceable.
