The best solution is to not sweat it at all, and since it is under warranty, just send it back to fix it.

Xbox power light is blinking whats wrong

No, the red flashing lights does not always depict a hard drive crash, Shawn Wallace.

This can mean a number of things...

@_@ Loco Xbox 360 Problem Guys I have no idea whats wrong with it. It's not playing any games. The laser reads CDs and DVDs flawlessly. The crazy part about it is that it DOES READ the games initially...

It seems your laser isn't reading the second layer on the games. Regular DVDs have only one layer of information, Xbox 360 games are "Dual Layered" meaning twice as much information in the same area. I would recommend buying a replacement laser from eBay and installing it yourself (as you already know how to take the Xbox apart)

I have an xbox 360 which contains a philips/benq

ok....if the dvd you bought is the EXACT same part #, and it does not have a board made to it, you should be able to just "drop it in". the system will think its the same thing. if its a generic or different part #, then you will have to "flash" the BIOs on the board for the dvd you are trying to use. its a pain, but first you have to find the correct flash version. if that is needed, there are many forums on upgrading and flashing that unit. id put in the new drive and at least try it

Open tray error on xbox 360

Mine had the same problem. On mine the spindle wasn't turning the game. It kept trying to then quit and said "Open Tray". The warranty was out so I took it apart opened the dvd drive and took apart the spindle. The grease in the spindle was black, I guess from all the heat. Cleaned it out and put some high temperature grease on spindle shaft and in the hole. It now spins with ease. There are videos on youtube on how to take apart the xbox and to take apart the dvd drive and spindle. Just pay close attention at how tight the screws the hold the spindle down are.I hope this helps

Roomba shuts down after a few minutes

The brushes are clean on the outside, but probably not inside of the little yellow contact on the end. Also the junk that collects on the brushes finds its way into the gear box. Mine kept shutting down w/ the "Please remove and clean Roomba's brushes" message. I finally gave up and took it apart. There was a surprising amount of junk in the gear box. After I got it apart, I cleaned it out and I even used a straight pin and a pair of tweezers to get all of the gunk out. Now it runs like new. I'm no mechanic, but I used to help my daddy fix things around the house. I posted my solution to the problem and it has worked for a couple of other people too.

360 disk tray

What I did was took apart my Xbox and put the disc tray back on the tracks, carefully lifting it over the circle thing in the middle. When I lay my Box down horizontally, it opens and closes fine.
