Rolex, at one time, had a quartz (battery operated) watch. It was only manufactured in solid gold and was distinctive in style from other models. It is no longer being made. For all practical purposes, it you see a battery operated Rolex it is not genuine.

You would have to unscrew the back (needs a special tool) and leave it open to dry..then probably have it cleaned. Only a professional watch mender can do this.
BUT Rolex watches are water resistant. It either isnt as Rolex, or you went too deep
Reset the time, day and date manually from scratch. Check for another 24 hours. If the problem persists that means there is interference between day and date wheels and in this case you will need watchmakers help, as to correct such a fault the watch needs to be disassembled almost completely.
If you don't have this ORIGINAL VALID STAMPED INTERNATIONAL ROLEX WARRANTY then your watch does not have any warranty. Just approach the dealer and ask him for ORIGINAL VALID STAMPED INTERNATIONAL ROLEX WARRANTY otherwise your watch does not have any warranty
I bought one while on a buisness trip to China. I like the watch alot but the band was too big. I have a friend who's a jeweler. He fixed the band for free. It does take a special tool (which he had).
Plain and simple, It is in need of a service. My recommendation is to take it to an independent watch marker. My watchmaker is $125 for a full service and has a 2 day turn around time. VS Rolex is $550 plus and who knows how long.
You need to go to a place that sells watch and jewelry supplies, because there is a certain tool for opening a Rolex. I am interested in knowing why you need to open it up though. If this is a Authentic Rolex ALL womans Rolex watches are automatics. Try unscrewing the crown (the part used to set the time ) counter clockwise and then clockwise turn the crown and listen to hear it winding, if it is infact an automatic, wind it 50 times. After winding, push crown in ( it is spring loaded) and screw in clockwise. It should run. If wearing every day you will not have to wind again, if wearing less frequently rewind as specified.
you are not doing anything wrong. How long have you had this watch ? is this something that just started ?It sounds Like the hands are missaligned, the only way to fix this is to send it to a qualified watchmaker to realign the hands and pressure test the watch.
