My daughters 97 saturn was worked on and now the stereo says LOC and wont play anything got any suggestions?

LOC is LOCked. This is the three ways to get a radio code.

If it helps you can get a Bluetooth Adapter that also has an auxiliary outlet for a standard 3.5mm Aux. Cable that plugs into your 12V/Ciggerate Lighter Adapter and you can connect your phone, iPod, or anything else that has Bluetooth Technology to your radio that way. You just set your radio to a certain FM Radio station(my adapter uses 105.7 for example) and the adapter transmits the sound to your radio- this is also great for taking calls while driving as it plays the phone audio through your stereo’s speakers and the adapter acts as a microphone so it’s hands free. You can also hard wire it into your stereo with an adapter from PAC or any reputable electronics/accessory manufacturer. These adapters are only like $10-$15 or so on eBay. I’ll add a pic and a link.

It's an internal issue, the best suggestion I have, and what I'd do as a certified technician of many years is simply buy a replacement stereo unit used from eBay or you can check with the local salvage yards and junkyards as they're full of perfectly good stereos & many other parts for a fraction of the price of any dealership! remove the stereo and contact the dealer.they will ask for particular numbers and they will be able to give you an unlock code if that radio is from that car

Do a search for a local GM dealer which also does Saturn, or if you can find an old Saturn dealer who now sells something else. They use that number and tell you what to do,

Did you check the alternator? if it is faulty the car will drain all the power from the battery until it goes flat

You will have to remove the stereo from the dash to get the numbers off of it or take it to the saturn dealer with the vin of the vehicle to get that code.

Check your Ignition 1 & ignition 3 fuses in the inside fuse block,also check the body fuse 10amp in the inside fuse block.Keyless entry should take back off once you found the blown fuse.hope this helps

car stereo that come with car is program to car pcm security system.when you change stereo.the pcm dont recognize the new stereo.the pcm goes into anti theft mode it disable ignition.system.

I agree with the suggestion on the clarification request.

I also have a Saturn. If the steering wheel is turned too far in either direction when the key is pulled, it leaves a lot of tension on the lock plate. The solution is turning the wheel a little further while turning the key.

The only time I see LOC on a radio, it specifies the type of signal. (LOC = Local, DX = Distant Transmission).
