Unlocking motorola v6

Hi i have a motorola v6 razr phone .my brother has send it from australia(melbourne) but when i inser my indian sim(airtel) it shows contact service provider.please help me how to use my phone

1) you can call your local service provider and he should unlock your phone for a fixed fees.

2) otherwise go to the unlocking sites provided you have a valid credit card and you will get an unlock code and procedure from the GSMLiberty.net

3) even postal unlocking for 25 dollars from iunlock.com

4) Otherwise for your choice just google 'unlock v6 razr" u will find lot of online unlockers

thats a really wierd one. is the airtel card a 3g sim? have you tried it in other NON-3g phones?

I know that the 3 network uses their U-Sims, and they are tempermental.

worst for worst, you can ask airtel to change your sim card
