Hi,
It tends to the problem of power supply .Check the connections are proper . If the connection is fine then you need to take to repair shop to get it repaired . Power supply unit is failing due to bad blown fuse or bad capacitor inside the unit .

Hope this helps .

I would say it is most likely a power supply problem, you need to look there first to see if all the Voltages are correct. These websites above and below, may offer some assistance, I have searched, the net, but there is NOT a lot of mention. I would advise contacting Bosch, and ask for a service manual, that way you at least have a chance of a fix.
http://www.ereplacementparts.com/bosch-jobsite-radio-parts-c-128_18802.html So, it is nearly always my professional opinion that one should always get a "Quote" form the manufacturers recommended service center, Bosch in your case, you should contact a local or head office, and ask for a referral to an authorised service center. Now, I cannot stress how important that last point is. It is even worth the cost of shipping. you see an authorised service agent, will have trained staff, trained on their brand, also they have first hand access to parts, original parts. This will actually save you money and ensure you can actually get it back fixed. Of course asking for a "Quote" also gives on the option of repair or replace.

If it stopped working suddenly you may need a software reset.

Check page 12 of user manual.

Hope this helps. If not please post a comment with some more details, eg., voltage on battery, have you tried new battery?

Motorla two way radio not charging

Clean the battery contacts with a pencil eraser and be certain the radio is turned off while setting on the charger. If this does not solve the problem, try a different battery in the charger to see if the charger is working properly. If the problem is not the charger, then replace your battery.

No Bus 08 dodge avenger..windows,radio,heater...etc..no start..disconnect battery..now its running again

Just bought a 2013 dodge avenger, literally yesterday. Test drove fine twice,, drove all over town for license and registration, multiple erands. No problems. I got to work and went to leave for lunch and was introduced to the no bus code. Left me stranded the very day i purchased it,, only 25000 miles. Is this problem simple enough to weather or is this the brightest red flag to take it back?

Not charging

Here are some troubleshooting ideas:
1) Clean your battery contacts with a pencil eraser, both on the radio and the charger (gently).
2) Have your radio turned off when placed on the charger.
3) Does the light on the charger come on when you place the battery on the charger?
4) Try another battery on the same charger and see if it will charge a different battery.
5) Try the known good battery on this radio and see if the radio functions correctly with a known good battery.
6) Try a different charger with the questionable battery and see if you can get it to charge.
7) Be certain the insert in the BPR40 charger is turned the correct direction for the type of battery you have. When inserted correctly the rails should guide the radio into place, placing the external charge contacts on the radio against the charge contacts of the charger.
8) Check the date code on your battery, if more than 2 years old, replace it.

Best regards.

I have a pair of sp10 and having trouble charging them and the batteries are new and when i put them in the charger i have to turn them on for the chargeing light to come on is this normal or are the...

You do not mention if you are using a wall plug charger, or a drop-in charger. We will give troubleshooting tips for both. To answer your question: If the light comes on and stays on, on the charger your charger is good. You have a radio or battery problem.

Wall Charger:
The light on the HTN8232 wall charger should come on and stay on when plugged into the radio, with the radio turned off. The fact the light comes on when the radio is turned on indicates your batteries are either no good, too low to charge, or you have a battery contact problem.
Solutions: 1) Clean your battery contacts with a pencil eraser.
2) Be certain the batteries are installed correctly.
3) Check your battery date code (three digit number on back of battery above the stop sign. First number is year, next two numbers are the week of the year. Batteries last about 2 years.)
4) Check to see your new batteries are NiCd batteries. The wall charger method is not compatible with NiMH batteries.
5) Try a charged battery from another radio and see if the charger light comes on and stays on with a different battery.

Drop-In Charger:
If you are using a drop-in charger, you would be using the above listed HTN8232 wall plug charger plugged into the tray. Here are some possible solutions for the drop-in charger:
1) Clean the exterior battery contacts with a pencil eraser.
2) Check to see if the wall charger will work when plugged directly into the radio.
3) If the charge capability of the radio seems compromised, take the battery out of the radio and charge it alone in the drop-in charger.

NOTE: Do not use the PTT if you are turn on the radio when plugged into the charger. This will burn out components in your radio.

The SP10 radio is known to be a repairable radio. (Generally around $69 flat rate.)

Best regards.

When radio is plugged in only the gfi outlets work not the radio.

Mines similar, outlets work but radio will only work on battery. Radio will not work on mains only. Charger works at same time so ok. SORTED IT TONIGHT. Inside the charger inside the box there is a fuse (240v 2A) I think, tiny radio fuse. Changed that tonight and radio now works on mains only or battery. Very awkwark job but better than watching a load of cr** on tv. Hope this helps someone.

Problem charging

If you are referring to a flashing yellow light on the charging base, this is an error code. Either the 1) battery is bad, 2) not making good contact in the charger, or 3) very very low on charge. The solution for this set of problems is as follows: 1) have the company you purchased them from replace them, 2) clean your contacts with a pencil eraser, 3) leave the battery on the charger with the yellow light flashing for an hour or two. If the battery is just very low on a charge, it will come back to life and the light will change to be constant. If the battery is bad or shorted out, the light will continue to flash and you will need to get with the vendor you purchased the batteries from.

Other things which come to mind are compatibility issues such as you are using a different battery chemistry than you had before. NiCd batteries can charge on either of the two chargers available for the P110 (slow rate or fast rate). However, NiMH and Li-Ion batteries require a fast rate charger.

If you are referring to a yellow blinking light on the radio while it is in the charger. You need to shut your radio off. Radios should always be turned off when charging. If the radio is left on you will never have a full charge. Also, if you inadvertently press the PTT while the radio is turned on, while on a charger, you can cause damage to the radio.

FYI: There is no light to show "out of range" on the radio, unless you are possibly using a trunking or repeater system. A blinking light on your radio indicates the radio is turned on and/or there is traffic on your frequency. Your charger base light can be red, yellow or green. This indicates the charge cycle status. Flashing most always means some type of error.

Charger should be able to power the radio at 'EL' level, if NOTHNG happens, I'd say charger is on the blink.

Works off 110V and battery, but doesn't charge battery, led flickers fast, battery is fine, can charge it with my normal charger

Decase by removing the eight screws on the back. Check the charging fuse isnt blown. You will find it on the underside of the square circuit board that mounts on the back of the charger port.
