My phone says it has no service. How can I fix this?

Hi Cgsaiki,

Please check if you have a good cell coverage at the area from your provider. If the service was just working ok until now at the area.

Tried to remove the battery and un-seat and re-seat the sim card from the card bay on your cellphone. If its still not working, try to change the sim card itself with a confirm working one.

If the new card still work on your cell, you need to replace the sim. If the confirmed working sim card is also not working on your cell. you might want to have your cell check by the provider/manufacturer as as there is something wrong either with the contact of the card bay, the sim card reader itself, or the cellphone's transceivers is acting-up.

Hope this helps.

I need to replace the sim card

In almost every cellphone the Sim Card is located under the battery. Open the back of your phone where the battery is located and remove the battery. You should see the Sim Card that you want to replace. Most Sim Cards slide under a small holder. Gently slide the Sim Card out. Make sure that you are aware of how the old Sim Card is positioned so that you can simply slide the new Sim Card in exactly the same way as the old Sim Card came out. Replace the battery and close the back cover and you are finished.
