How do I reset URC-3940?

Note: most remotes allow you to find the code by manually turning the TV (or other device) on first, then press the appropriate button (cable, DVD, surround, etc) then setting the the remote in the "program" mode, then keep pushing the "off/power" button until the TV (or other device) turns off, at that point the code is set.

URC 3940 has 5 digit setup codes. If you want to make sure about the compactability of this remote control to your devce, you have to make an autosearch function to it.

There is no universal remote control by wihci you can synchronse the Alba set for all its functions. Try to get an original one.

Here in your probem post, I do see two numbers of URC remotes. URC 3021 & URC 3940. Our of which, what brand do you want codes and instruction manual. I've all thesed detals for both remote controls. But I can't send it to you by this window, as it does not allow me to upload any PDF files by it. Both the manual [along with codes and proceedings], are in PDF format. Proceedings to synchronise in detail.
If you send me your email address, or, send me a mail at [email protected], I'll send both the manuals to you by return mail. It will be best, rather than typing more with this window I thinks. Anyway, I hereby includes the setup codes for both the remote controls for Panasonic brand.

Setup codes for Panasonic Brand TVs with URC-3021 remote control are:

Setup codes for URC-3940 remote controls are 5 digit codes. They are:

You ahve to check these setup codes, one by one, and find out which code gives you maximum functionality with your TV. That is the way to do.

i have a goodmans tv GTV69RFDT and i have brought a one for all remote urc-3920-urc 3940. All the codes dont work, i have tried the seach method and still nothing is working properly, i get the number buttons and volume but no up channel and down or menu button. Need help

Try the green button then the brown acid. Everything should come clearly from there. Best of luck
