Which lamp?
Disk activity can cause one light to blink, "randomly".
Or, putting the computer to "sleep" can cause a fixed-rate of blinking.
Network activity (wired or wireless) can cause random "blinking".

Stop mouse blinking when start open windows and over screen color resolution and size

make sure the mouse Ps 2 or the usb plug has a good seating if applicable or if its batteries that are good

I have found that the best way to adjust your mouse settings is to create a control panel in your bottom toolbar scroll to the bottom of your screen right click you will see an array of options select the toolbar option then select desktop

then you will see the desktop in the bottom toolbar select the 2 >>arrow heads then all control panel items then select mouse this is in WINDOWS 7

in XP you will have to select the new toolbar option once you have that a browse option select my computer then control panel then a control panel option will be in the bottom toolbar

click start right click on my computer select properties device manager control scroll to mice and pointing devices you might see a yellow question mark? right update driver

click on >> control panel all control panel items mouse you should see 4 tabs buttons pointers pointer options and hardware under hardware you have options to troubleshoot also you can select properties under driver you will have the options update driver rollback driver or uninstall in xp

in windows 7 click start control panel hardware and sound mouse you will see the same tabs and options as with xp

Click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll to display adapters + to expand you might see a yellow question mark ? or exclamation mark ! or a red x right click select reinstall drivers
You might need to upgrade your graphics card drivers

you might have to remove your graphics card to make sure the socket is clean
restart your computer the reinstall it this should activate found new hardware wizard
if your computer came with a mother board disk the drivers could be on it

click start control panel display desktop you can select a different desktop from the drop down list
or a browse button where you can select different pictures this may vary depending on your operating system

also you can change the settings for more or less pixels or from the drop down list pick the appropriate level of color range or troubleshoot also select advanced then general dpi normal size, larger size or custom settings
always click APPLY after making any changes

hope this helps

Whats problem t he blue scree

Blue screen or BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) may be caused because of several reasons: recent hardware/software change, virus, memory card, conflict etc. When blue screen occurs it gives some STOP codes (e.g.,0x0000007E) which give us an idea what may be the reason behind it.

E machines flat computer screen began blinking and having colored lines going through it after turning black. By odd mishap I realized when I pressed on the screen it stopped doing that. That has been...

By the way, is it an LCD screen? I guess so. LCDs have small IC's either on the lower portion or in the left side of the screen. When these become loose, the tendency is to have vertical or horizontal lines on the screen. Hot air blower might solve the problem. But most will not. Better claim warranty or replace the unit.

Sony Big Screen Tv

Your flyback transformer is probably bad. It will need to be replaced. You could also try adjusting the voltages to the crts from the flyback. There is a set of 6 screw like pot knobs just behind the speaker grill. The bottom three knobs are the ones you want to adjust. Do it very very slowly as it shouldn't take much to correct the problem.
