I have two phone one with vodafone sim another one with airtel.both r working good oly. one of my phone is nokia another one is sony ericsson.once i rechanged sim in two phone ,in sony ericsson it s coming insert sim. i took the sim wipe it off and switch off and on but no use .plz help me

If the other SIM cards are Vodafone SIM cards then your cell phone is locked to Vodafone and it will not work with the Airtel SIM card.

its related to the sim card you have in your mobile...you would have locked the sim that's why it is asking for the password normally it would be given when you purchased the sim..try to call your mobile service provider example-vodafone,airtel and ask for the puk code they'll provide it but not down all the numbers behind your sim card before you call them..

Make Sure your Sim Card is Active... Take Off Battery and ride down the SIN number then chek with Bell, then Roger, and all the compagny See if your Phone is Compatible with those compagny..

it is easy to get! call the service provider of your sim card like airtel customer care if using airtel, vodafone helpdesk if using vodafone!! then will ask u the number, sim number which is on the sim card and the name of the registered owner!!

why dont you try changing the sim to another if the problem is from the sim you are testing.
if the problem remains then you can go ahead flashing the phone but analyse the fault to the technician so to know the format of flashing to use ok.

go to settings .. phone settings .. thn operators selection ... manual ... and u check the network ... and see if airtel is available in ur loacality .... if availble .. th ni twuld work ....

this phone might have been made only to detect the airtel sim cards as the phone in question might have been made only for the air tel company
in collaboration with nokia .

so there might be no code for it to allow all the sim cards .

imagine it like the cdma phone distributed by reliance communications

u have sand a sms on the compnay of sim card they will sand u a setting

check the frequency of ur country if ur in chennai india contact tis no 09444166879
also check if ur imei no is starting wit no.1 then the vodafone network it works wit any gsm
