They will have a security check done with your date of birth etc..to verify whether you are the exact owner of the phone..

After that they will provide you the restriction code to unlock it and use it with another service provider..

I forgot my lock code for my samsung magnet how do I unlock it plz! Help ?
Turn on Samsung Magnet without SIM card and type in #7465625*638*CODE# where CODE = your unlock code. The device should say: "Network Lock Deactivated". Your Samsung Magnet may automatically reboot and your done!
Now you have a new unlocked Samsung Magnet A257. You will now be able to use the phone with any carrier and service. If these steps didnt work for you, or you are interested in finding out more information, check out this video on Unlocking Samsung Phones I found on Bursta.com.
Note: The free unlock instructions provided on this site only work with GSM or SIM card versions of the Samsung Magnet A257. As always there may be already unlocked versions of this mobile phone, but generally cost a lot more then unlocking it yourself.

Need unlocking code for samsung sgh-j700v
There are three ways to unlock your mobile phone
 
1. TEMPORARY UNLOCKS:
Put a non-accepted SIM Card and turn it on. Type *#9998*3323#. Press Exit. You will get a new menu. Select Malloc Fail.
 
In newer phones:
#*7337#
 
 
 
2. If you want to unlock your phone put a sim from another company then type *#9998*3323# it will reset your phone. Push exit and then push 7, it will reset again. Put your other sim in and it will say sim lock, type in 00000000 then it should be unlocked. Type in *0141# then the green call button and it's unlocked to all networks. This code may not work on the older phones and some of the newer phones. If it doesn't work you will have to reset your phone without a sim in it by typing *#2767*2878# or *#9998*3855# (not tested)
 
 
 
3. Type *#9998*627837793# Go to the 'my parameters' and there you will find new menu where you can unlock phone.(not tested-for Samsung C100)
To unlock a Samsung turn the phone off take the sim card and type the following code *#pw+15853649247w#.

WOW! what a process! I don't know how you kept track of all that but , good job! Try this. It's a maybe, but better than nothing,
