There are two possible causes of this issue. The first is a problem with your software drivers or graphical settings. Firstly click on Start, then right click "Computer" and left click "Manage". A new window should appear. In the left hand column click on "Device Manager", and if you can see any icons with yellow exclamation marks; that could be your problem, reinstall the drivers.
If this isn't the case, it could be a hardware problem, in which case you'd have to either call the manufacturer or your local service technician.
It's a camera-shake alert. There is a risk of getting shaken images if you are not careful. Support the camera on a firm surface, table, chair, etc. or even better; a tripod.
I just looked it up in my manual, and the exclamation mark with the waving hand means: 'There is a strong likelihood of camera shake because the shutter speed is slow.' The remedy to this is: 'Use flash photography. However, use a tripod for some scenes and modes.'
It sounds like you need to adjust your shutter speed. I'm no expert and I consult my manual often, so if you need any assistance doing this or anything else, feel free to ask.
1- Press erase button and flash mode button on top of camera at the same time.
2- When YES/NO confirmation screen appears, press OK/SHUTTER button.
3- When formatting is finished, the exclamation mark will go away. Please note that all pictures on card will be erased.
