Are the nuts holding the blades on a Troy Bilt model 13xu609h063 (20 hp. three blade mower) reverse threaded?
If a blade, when viewed from above, rotates clockwise, it will have right-handed threads. This is because the shaft is turning to the right, and the resistance imparted on the blade will tend to tighten a right-handed fastener. If a blade rotates counter-clockwise it will have a left-handed fastener. I don't know this mower, but this is a universal thing.
