Not really a problem - but there are 3 yellow lights - one for num-lock, one for caps-lock, and what is the 3rd one?

How many blinks between pauses if there are pauses? Look at this chart.

First you need to determine how many blinks you are getting when you try to power on the laptop. Check whether it is coming on or not. try the same procedure with Hard drive. If laptop is getting power on after removing one of the device then we can be sure that that particular device is faulty and we can change that then? That is the Scroll Lock button. to turn it off you just need to press the button. It is normally located near the Print Screen and Pause/Break buttons.

Boot to your Bios and look in advanced for num lock and disable.

or

go to run in the start menu.
typ: regedit.

Go to: HKEY_USERS\.Default\Control Panel\Keyboard
Then String value- InitialKeyboardIndicators right click click modify then choose a number below.

Explaination numbers.

0= Truns Off, Num Lock, Caps Lock, Scroll Lock
1= Turns On Caps Lock,
2= Turns ON Num Lock,
3= Turns On Caps Lock, and Num Lock
4= Turns ON Scroll Lock
5= Turns on Caps Lock, and Scroll Lock
6= Turns On Num Lock, and Scroll Lock
7= Turns On Caps Lock, Num Lock, and Scroll Lock

Your EX 110 receiver has 3 indicator lights (LEDs) that display the status of the Caps lock, Function key, and the Num lock during normal operating mode. These lights will also flash when the connect button on the receiver is pressed.
LED A: Indicates that the Caps Lock (Capital lock) key is on when lit.
LED F: Indicates that the F keys are in Standard F Keys Mode when lit and in Enhanced F Keys Mode when the LED is off.

• Your EX 110 keyboard has an Enhanced F Keys Mode for F keys that provides additional functions you can program. See Knowledge Base article 9526.

LED 1: Indicates when the Num Lock (Number lock) key is on. This function allows the number pad to produce only numbers

When you start your PC, Num Lock, Scroll Lock, and Caps Lock don’t automatically toggle on. You can automatically turn each of them on or off whenever your PC starts, for all accounts on the PC. As a practical matter, most people probably want to have only Num Lock automatically turned on, but this Registry hack gives you the power to force any combination of keys on or off.

Start>Run then type in "regedit" whithout quotes.

HKEY_USERS.DefaultControl PanelKeyboard.
Find the String value
InitialKeyboardIndicators. By default, it is set to 0, which means that Num Lock, Scroll Lock, and Caps Lock are all turned off. Set it to any of the following values, depending on the combination of keys you want turned on or off:
0 Turns off Num Lock, Caps Lock, and Scroll Lock
1 Turns on Caps Lock
2 Turns on Num Lock
3 Turns on Caps Lock and Num Lock
4 Turns on Scroll Lock
5 Turns on Caps Lock and Scroll Lock
6 Turns on Num Lock and Scroll Lock
7 Turns on Caps Lock, Num Lock, and Scroll Lock
Exit the Registry. When you restart, the new setting will take effect.

Note: You have problem with Caps Lock so just modify Caps lock option on Regedit.
And do not forget to run virus scan on your computer once you are done.
