When i turn on my xbox it trys to log me on xboxlive but it says i need to put in a pass code to go on xboxlive what do i do?

Log on to xboxlive.com and cancel it there.

1 )Turn on your Microsoft Xbox 360 and log into your Gamertag account.

2 )Navigate to your profile on the "My Xbox" area of the Xbox 360 dashboard and press "A."

3 )Select "Manage Account" by pressing "A."

4 )Select "Memberships" by pressing "A."

5 )Select the first option, which will be your current Xbox Live Gold status, on the Memberships screen by pressing the "A" button.

6 )Select "Redeem Code" by pressing "A."

7 )Enter your Xbox Live Gold prepaid subscription code and confirm the code to activate it.

You need to log into x box live.Go to your account settings and delete your debit or credit card #.

Also opt out of auto renewal on x box live.

The "password" should be available on the router itself. There will be a couple of codes. Try each of those and one will work.

you can try logging into xbox.com type in random password (*note you will need to know your email for this) when you fail to log in just click on forgot password and follow steps this should fix your problem

Call 1-800-4MY-XBOX and tell them what you just said. As long as you know the password and the e-mail account used to set this account up, they should be able to help you no problem.

if the router is wireless then you need and xbox wireless dongle which connects to the xbox through the usb then scan for your router then put in the routers wpa or psk code

the xbox 360 wireless dongle you can get from any major supermarket

Make sure your connected to the internet.

u should try ringing ur internet server and u dont connect it to ur laptop u connect it to ur modem and router and btw for some reason xbox live doesnt work for everyone it weird but no one knows why

Not sure how far back it spans but reprots for xbox live being down started around friday night could have been earlier than that.

Xbox live is down atm most of the online games right now are not working and the voicemail and messaging systems are down. Im sure that the downloading system is also down. They now about it and are working on it. If you would like to track the status go to www.xboxlive.com and search status this will bring you the xbox live status whether it is working atm or not just yet they hope to have it working this week. This issue started on friday or saturday this past week.
