Error 0E My epson dfx9000 showsthe message 0E when switching ON with 5 bips and all the leds ON Please help me

check print head built in thermistor and the carrier cable.In Case You Still Having Problem Then Follow Us For On : Epson Printer Support

There is a sub-board under the carriage assy. that controls all the functions. It has probably gone south.

Erro 0E on EPSON DXF-9000 printer

Internal hardware detects that the paper paths do not switch during paper path switching operation.

The issue relates to the voltage. The error reports 07 as low voltage error.

The motor (+42 V) or head drive (+37 V) voltage fell below the
allowable level.

This error indicates a power output problem, or a voltage detection circuit failure.

Check and replace the following in the order below, checking
functionality at each step:

Power Unit
ROM Board

The error code and the lights indicate a fatal error inside the printer. Actually, this is for service already so you need to check the warranty of your printer or call EPSON. I would like to give you some idea on what's happening with your printer. This is something to do with the LES or the left end sensor is not beginning detected. It is when you turn the printer ON/OFF or during normal operation that the left end position is not reaching where the sensor signal should be detected. There might be a need to replace a part of the sensor and its connector or the ROM BOARD itself. Again, please check this with EPSON certified service center.

This error OE is linked with the Print Head Driver.
2 solution:
1- Check the print head cables (continuity, shortcircuit, connection etc..
2- Print head Driver on the Main Board is out of order > Change the Main Board.
